The Great Building Showdown Mark your calendars for the 6th annual Great Building Showdown, June 25-July 5, 2026 at the Augusta Museum of History! This FREE EVENT will take place in the Museum Rotunda. This is a great spot to bring your family and friends during the holiday week. This STEAM-event features a multi-display presentation made completely with building bricks along with the "It Takes A Village" building tables where young architects can design their own buildings and think outside the box. This is all led by local engineer Mark Lorah, who's 6 foot Georgia Capital Building along with two life size bald eagles will take center stage in the Museum Rotunda.
