Back by popular demand (and because it's just so much fun!), this year will mark the 2nd Annual Great Building Showdown with LEGO Bricks! This STEM-event features replicas of the region's historic structures made completely with LEGO bricks. The competition is open to amateurs and professionals. The display is free to the public and will be set up in the Museum Rotunda during regular museum hours. All creations will also be available through silent auction with proceeds benefiting the Augusta Museum of History programs, exhibitions and preservation efforts. Museum visitors will also have a chance to join in on the fun! "It Takes a Village" allows visitors to add their own special touch to our community board. From large, toddler-friendly blocks for the smallest builders to smaller blocks for those more advanced in skill - come join us in building our village!
