The Augusta Museum of History is dedicated to creating a safe environment for our staff and guests. We have implemented procedures that help us reduce contact, maintain social distancing, and keep our facilities clean.
Following CDC public health guidelines
Disinfecting public areas regularly
Limiting our capacity to allow adequate space to social distance
Posting helpful social distancing markers and signs
Stay home if you do not feel well or are exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19.
Practice social distancing by maintaining at least 6 feet of distance between you and others.
Wash your hands frequently and practice good hygiene when coughing or sneezing.
Accessible parking for vehicles displaying the appropriate disability permits is located in the parking lot. This parking is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. There is also a drop-off only area, allowing a driver to drop a disabled passenger off at the entrance to the museum. A wheelchair is available free of charge, on a first-come, first-serve basis, inside the entrance. The second floor of the Museum is accessible by elevator. The Museum is also equipped with accessible restrooms.
