Hunt For History

The Augusta Museum of History invites youth and their families to explore our regional history with our fun and educational Hunt for History scavenger hunts through the Museum. Travel through 12,000 years of Augusta, Georgia's history and discover the odd and the mysterious. Our scavenger hunts are self-guided opportunities designed to give visitors a hands-on way to experience our museum.

What better way to discover all that the Museum has to offer than by exploring the Museum on your own? Our scavenger hunts are self-guided opportunities designed to give visitors a hands-on way to experience our museum.

Make your way through the Museum following the clues or searching for answers to questions. Each clue/question leads to a different artifact or exhibit area and helps visitors learn more about Augusta and the surrounding area. Hunt for History forces participants to read signage on displays and think critically.
