The Augusta Museum of History offers specialized and individually created programs for homeschool groups. These programs can be tailored to each homeschool group's curriculum and needs. Past activities have included the following:
Native American: Stallings Island Pottery
Youth visit our Stallings Island exhibit, explore the Native American Touch Cart, then create their own pottery shards!
Colonial Times: Colonial Hat Making
Children will visit Revolutionary War exhibit, then create a colonial tri-corn hat!
Primary Source Program
Youth use primary source artifacts to discover more about the history of Augusta during specific time periods. Learn More
