Description

Court document relating to a property dispute between Baker & Lord and Stephen Dodge over an attachment property claimed by both persons.

Henry Holder, A. Falconer, and J.C. Smith are material witnesses but could not attend court in person.

Dudley Selden, A. Weston and Thomas Addis Emmet were asked by Superior Court Judge Robert Raymond Reed to interrogate the witnisses for the purposes of court.

Attached are two pages of questions for the witnesses: Do you or do you not know the parties? Were you or were you not acquainted with the defendant Stephen Dodge in the year eighteen hundred and nineteen and for some time and how long before that time and have you or have not known him ever since? among others. Dated May 14, 1825
