Chamber Pot, ca. 1860


1855 to 1865


Chamber pot with lid and several broken portions. The porcelain is white with blue and burgundy decoration. The pot originally had two handles. Before indoor plumbing allowed for the usage of toilets, people could make use of a chamber pot in their house.
