Augusta Ice & Coal

Frank Christian

ca. 1930s

Augusta Ice & Coal, located at 639 Thirteenth St, was one of the companies that provided needed goods to local citizens. Coal was used to heat homes. Ice had many uses and was often placed in an icebox, where it would help keep perishables cool in order for them to last longer.
