Dress - Wedding Dress, c.1915

c. 1915

White, silk and lace dress that was probably worn as a wedding dress. The collar and sleeves are lace and there are two lace panels running down front and back of dress. Areas of the dress are embroidered with floral and butterfly patterns. The dress was given as part of the Mary Lou Bussey estate. This dress could have been worn by Louise Mays Bussey, or her aunt Mary Lou Phinizy.
