From Ty to Cal: A Century of Baseball in Augusta
The Curator’s Corner at the Augusta Museum of History is featuring a new micro-exhibit, From Ty to Cal: A Century of Baseball in Augusta. The exhibit includes souvenirs, photographs, and game-used equipment that pertain to over 100 years of Augusta’s rich baseball history. From Ty Cobb’ s 1904 Augusta Tourists to the current first place Augusta GreenJackets, Augusta has been home to many dynamic baseball players and professional championship baseball teams.
The Exhibit will be on display now through June, 2007.
The Augusta Museum of History is located at 560 Reynolds Street in downtown Augusta. Hours of operation are Tuesday through Saturday, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m.; and Sunday 1 p.m.-5 p.m. Admission is: Adult: $4•Senior: $3•Child: (6-18) $2-(5and under) Free
