The Augusta Museum of History is a grand, elegant space for hosting special events. Meeting rooms, reception areas and an auditorium are available day or evening to corporate and professional organizations as well as private individuals. Your event may include visits to special exhibitions and the Museum collection. We will assist you in making your occasion a memorable experience.

We have several spaces available to accomodate any type or size event


The Rotunda
The Rotunda is a 6,431 sq. ft. total special event area (includes lower level & balcony area)
and is octagonal in shape.

Seated Dinner - 150
Standing Reception - 350-400
$1050 - Friday, Saturday or Sunday from 5:00 pm - midnight
$525 - Monday through Thursday from 5:00 pm - 11:00 pm

The History Theater
100 seat theater with projector, podium and sound system
$200 - Monday through Friday from 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
Evening rentals may be accomodated, contact the Museum

Classroom I & II
up to 30 people per classroom
$150 per room - Monday - Sunday from 10:00 am - 5:00 pm
Evening rentals may be accomodated, contact the Museum
